The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) Scheme
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) Scheme is a financial incentive from the UK government to encourage people to switch to renewable heating systems by paying them a sum of money every quarter for seven years according to the amount of renewable heat that their heating system produces.
The RHI Scheme is divided into two parts:
Domestic RHI – for home owners and tenants in privately rented properties
And
Non-domestic RHI – for businesses
